The message was unmistakable: public health was secondary to restarting the economic machine. Safety from an experimental product? Secondary. Informed consent? Optional. Accountability for harms? Non-existent.
Fast-forward to 2026. While Germany’s parliamentary inquiry hears explosive testimony estimating tens of thousands of vaccine-related deaths and the U.S. Senate grills federal health officials over hidden myocarditis data, Canada’s response is a bureaucratic rebrand: the Vaccine Injury Support Program (VISP) is now the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program (VIAP). No national reckoning. No parliamentary inquiry into the mandates. Just a fresh coat of paint on a program that has paid out a pittance while thousands of claims languish. This is not oversight. This is a cover-up.
The Contract That Admitted What They Knew: Pfizer’s Own Words
The Pfizer-BioNTech contract Canada signed in late 2020 contained a damning admission buried in the fine print: “Purchaser further acknowledges that the long-term effects and efficacy of the Vaccine are not currently known and that there may be adverse effects of the Vaccine that are not currently known.” Pfizer was indemnified. Yet Ottawa pressed ahead with mandates that cost jobs, destroyed businesses, and froze bank accounts under the Emergencies Act when the Freedom Convoy dared to protest. The government knew the long-term data didn’t exist. They mandated anyway.
Germany’s Bombshell: 60,000 Estimated Deaths from Comirnaty Alone

Meanwhile, Canada’s Public Health Agency quietly ended its contract with the private operator of VISP on March 31, 2026, and launched VIAP on April 1. Critics, including injured claimants, call the name change Orwellian — “erasing” the word “injury” and replacing “support” with “assistance.” Of the roughly 3,500 claims filed by late 2025, only a fraction have received payouts totaling just over $21 million while administrative costs devoured tens of millions. No public database of lot numbers, no causation studies released. Just another layer of denial wrapped in bureaucratic language.
Dr. Theresa Tam’s Emails: From Inuit Infants to National Mandates
Freedom of Information releases in early 2025 exposed internal emails that should have ended Dr. Theresa Tam’s tenure as Chief Public Health Officer. A December 16, 2019, message from Dr. Tom Wong, then Director General at Indigenous Services Canada, warned Tam and senior officials of “ethical concerns” with a PHAC-backed program injecting Inuit infants in Nunavik with Palivizumab (an expensive monoclonal antibody for RSV prevention). Between Q2 2019 and Q3 2021 — the exact window of Canada’s vaccine procurement and mandate frenzy — Pfizer allegedly directed $11 million to Canadian PIGOs. For context, Canada’s pharma market is roughly 1/18th the size of America’s, yet Pfizer spent nearly as much here as in the U.S. ($12 million).
The suit remains in discovery. No Canadian ATIP requests have been answered. No parliamentary committee has summoned witnesses. Independent media and researchers are still chasing the paper trail. But the timing — right as Ottawa locked in billions in vaccine contracts and imposed coercive mandates — raises the oldest question in politics: cui bono? Who benefited?
The Human Cost They Won’t Name
While Ottawa rebrands programs and buries emails, excess mortality data continues to show anomalies in highly vaccinated provinces. Independent analyses and international autopsy reviews (including a 2025 systematic paper linking 28 sudden deaths directly to vaccine-induced myocarditis) suggest the official narrative is crumbling. Canada has no equivalent to Germany’s Enquête Commission or America’s Senate probes. The Emergencies Act invocation — complete with frozen accounts and labeled “sedition” for truckers — remains the only federal “inquiry” into dissent.

They deserve a full public inquiry with subpoena power, release of all contract details and payment records, lot-by-lot adverse event data, and criminal referrals where evidence of negligence or corruption exists. Until that happens, the betrayal of 2020–2022 remains Canada’s greatest unprosecuted scandal of the 21st century.
