On February 18, 2026, Immigration Minister Lena Metlege Diab stood up and proudly announced the latest betrayal of Canadian sovereignty. Under the shiny new 2026 Express Entry categories, the Liberal government — now led by Mark Carney in his defence-spending frenzy — is rolling out a dedicated fast-track to permanent residency for “highly skilled foreign military applicants recruited by the Canadian Armed Forces.”
Military doctors, nurses, and pilots with a CAF job offer get bumped to the front of the line for PR. Same “security screenings,” they claim. Bullshit. This isn’t filling gaps. This is importing mercenaries with Canadian passports while young Canadians who actually want to defend this country rot in recruiting offices.
This isn’t bold leadership. It’s desperate incompetence from a government that has spent decades gutting the CAF, then panics and decides the solution is to outsource our military to whoever shows up with a foreign uniform and a hunger for quick citizenship. And if you think it’ll work, look at the smoking wreckage of every other “skilled” immigration shortcut Canada has tried. The fraud is rampant, the risks are criminal, and the human cost is already piling up.

Fraud-Riddled “Skills” Programs Are Already a National Scandal — Now Add Guns and Secrets
Start with trucking, the poster child for Express Entry/LMIA abuse. For years, shady operators sold fake Labour Market Impact Assessments like candy. Foreign workers paid tens of thousands of dollars for non-existent job offers just to game the points system. The government itself admitted the rot was so bad they had to yank the 50 CRS points for job offers in spring 2025 — because the entire program had become a black market for PR. Trucking companies turned into visa mills, exploiting desperate migrants while flooding highways with undertrained, exhausted drivers in unsafe rigs. Exposés revealed “Driver Inc.” scams where immigrants were incorporated as fake businesses to dodge taxes and benefits, all while real Canadian truckers got squeezed out.
Now shift to the trades. In November 2025, Ontario was forced to suspend its entire Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream after an internal review uncovered “systemic misrepresentation and/or fraud” in eligibility requirements. Hundreds of applications — forged pay stubs, fake trade certificates, cooked-up Canadian experience — got torched and sent back. Workers protested outside Queen’s Park, screaming they were being tarred with the same brush, but the province had no choice. The program was so compromised that they couldn’t verify a damn thing. Construction sites, plumbing shops, welding bays — all turned into immigration fraud factories.
This is the proven track record of Canada’s “targeted” immigration shortcuts. Paperwork lies. Credentials are bought. Backgrounds are invented. And now Carney and Diab want to apply the exact same broken model to people who will handle fighter jets, military hospitals, and classified NORAD data?
Foreign Doctors Already Prove the Vetting Disaster — Sexual Abuse Rates Speak for Themselves
If you still believe “same security requirements” means anything, look at what’s happening with foreign-trained doctors — the very professionals now getting their own Express Entry priority alongside the military category.
A Saskatchewan College of Physicians and Surgeons report covering 1985-2010 laid it bare: of 47 sexual boundary violations investigated from 1985-2005, 46 (98%) involved foreign-trained physicians. From 2006-2010, 38 of 41 complaints (93%) were against IMGs. That’s not a blip. That’s a pattern so glaring the regulator couldn’t explain it away, even while admitting Saskatchewan had the highest proportion of international graduates. They added boundary training to orientations — too little, too late for victims.
Recent cases keep the nightmare alive. Dr. Sanjeev Sirpal, previously disciplined in Quebec, waltzed into New Brunswick and Nova Scotia under interprovincial licensing and now faces multiple sexual assault charges against patients in 2024-2025. Ontario tribunals have revoked licences for doctors sexually abusing vulnerable patients, with patterns of boundary violations that scream inadequate screening of foreign credentials and cultural attitudes toward authority and consent. Patients — often women in compromised positions — pay the price while regulators shuffle paper and mutter about “communication issues.”
Foreign doctors get rushed through because Canada is desperate for warm bodies in white coats. Now imagine that same desperation applied to pilots who can crash a CF-18 or medics with access to service members’ medical and psychological records. The betrayal of patients is already happening. The betrayal of national security will be catastrophic.
America’s MAVNI Disaster Is the Exact Roadmap Canada Is Following — Willfully Blind
Don’t take Canada’s word for it. Look south. The U.S. Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest (MAVNI) program — fast-track citizenship for foreign recruits with “critical skills” — was suspended in 2016 after DoD investigations revealed it was a sieve for threats.
Recruits entered on fraudulent visas to fake universities that didn’t exist. Others faked transcripts from schools run by foreign intelligence agencies — and their classmates went on to work for those same spy outfits. One recruit openly supported 9/11 terrorists and said he’d help China in a crisis. Others hid family ties to hostile militaries and political parties. Vetting was impossible for many from countries without data-sharing agreements. The Pentagon called it an “elevated security risk” for insider threats. Dozens were discharged. The program collapsed in scandal, leaving thousands in limbo and real damage to trust.
That was America — with vastly more resources, intelligence sharing, and a culture that at least pretends to take security seriously. Canada’s CAF can barely process its own domestic applicants without years of delay. You think they’ll magically nail deep background checks on foreign military personnel from who-knows-where, under political pressure to hit Carney’s NATO 2% and “Buy Canadian” quotas?
This Isn’t Recruitment — It’s Surrender
The root problem isn’t a lack of bodies. It’s that successive governments — including this one — destroyed the citizen-soldier model with bureaucracy, low pay (until the recent panic raises), endless deployments without support, and a public culture that sneers at patriotism. Young Canadians aren’t joining in droves because the institution is broken, not because there aren’t enough of them.
Instead of fixing that, Carney’s crew imports foreigners who get PR in months, citizenship in three years, and access to the most sensitive parts of our defence apparatus. Many will serve the minimum, grab the passport, and bounce — leaving Canada with the bill and the risk. Others may carry divided loyalties, family pressures abroad, or simply different values on rules of engagement and secrecy.
This policy doesn’t strengthen sovereignty. It auctions it off. It tells every Canadian kid dreaming of serving that their country values a foreign resume more than their own blood and oath. It tells adversaries we can’t even staff our own military without begging outsiders.
The fraud in trucking and trades, the sexual misconduct tsunami among rushed foreign doctors, and America’s MAVNI catastrophe are not warnings. They are previews. Carney and Diab are charging ahead anyway, high on defense-spending announcements and globalist applause.
Canada deserves better than leaders who treat our armed forces like an HR department for the United Nations. This Express Entry military giveaway must be killed immediately — before the first foreign recruit with a doctored record steps onto a CAF base with secrets in hand and a new red passport in his pocket.
The house is already on fire from past immigration scams. Pouring gasoline on the Canadian Forces is not the solution. It’s arson.
