Exposed: How Public Safety Canada Arms Rachel Gilmore & Evan Balgord to destroy Canadian lives (Part 2)

This is Part 2 of an investigative feature by Free Speech Watch (@FreeSpeechWest on X) from a perspective of free speech advocacy.

In the previous installment of this series, Free Speech Watch (FSW) reported on the statements of Evan Balgord, Executive Director of the Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN), a government grant-funded “anti-hate” group. Balgord stated that Active Clubs in Canada, including Second Sons Canada (SSC), should be designated as terrorist entities. “I believe that designating [specific groups as terrorist entities] is justified, and it would be effective in disrupting white nationalism in Canada significantly.”

Given the evidence that Free Speech Watch (FSW) provided in Part 1 of this series, there is no grounds for any of these groups to be considered terrorist entities in Canada, especially not SSC. It appears that Balgord thinks terrorism designations should be used to target the operations of groups with political views that he doesn’t like. FSW followed the public statements of Balgord from the CBC article to the podcast of Rachel Gilmore, who livestreamed a conversation with Balgord in March 2026.

FSW recently reported that Gilmore has publicly acknowledged working with the Antifa group, “Montreal Antifasciste”. This group engages in doxing home addresses of their political targets on their official website. This resulted in the destruction of one of their target’s family home with extensive vandalism, including spray paint with the political slur, “Nazi”. Gilmore has not responded to our requests to comment about her associations with possibly criminal activity targeting political opponents.

Gilmore and Balgord carry on with this same work in this livestream broadcast. The first topic they cover in depth is the hacking of WhiteDate.net, a dating site for White people. They applaud the actions of a hacker in Germany dubbed “Martha Root”, who wearing an anonymous Power Rangers outfit on stage at a computer hacking conference in December 2025, hacked and deleted the website infrastructure and data of WhiteDate and several adjacent websites.

The personal information of around 8000 user profiles was posted to a database of leaked personal data. These actions; hacking the website, deleting and stealing its information, are highly illegal, hence the anonymity of the hacker, and still no charges have been laid in this politically motivated attack.

Gilmore and Balgord use this illegally obtained information to dox, humiliate and attack the livelihood of their political opposition. They call this “social consequences”. Balgord explains how he convinced CBC that covering this story by participating in these attacks is in the “public interest”. Gilmore goes on to clarify that Anti-Hate does the bulk of the work of doxing in joint investigations involving CBC, including in a story about a conference in BC in July 2025 which they deemed to be “Neo-Nazi”.

Gilmore and Balgord use this illegally obtained, but now open-source private information, to mock their victims, attack their employment, and cherry pick info to paint a twisted picture of their targets. Ironically, Balgord muses about how the majority of the 500-600 Canadian profiles they are targeting are “deeply unhinged”.

Gilmore and Balgord justify doxing and life ruination by stating it is within public interest to enact social consequences. They introduce a new person to publicly dox for the first time on this livestream, with Balgord gloating about how he just got off the phone with a lawyer to help ensure he could harm this person with impunity using their private information obtained illegally. They boast about how there will be a slow drip of information doxing more individuals in the future, which should be a reason to worry for many of the potential targets.

Another leaked profile mentioned by CBC, Gilmore and Balgord, appeared to belong to another recent target of theirs, Shawn Beauvais-Macdonald. When asked for comment from CBC about his alleged WhiteDate profile, MacDonald responded by listing a number of dating sites catering to different religions and ethnicities. CBC, Gilmore and Balgord do not attack the users of any of these dating platforms

Balgord states that WhiteDate is incomparable with other ethnicity-based dating websites, because one can choose which kind of pro-White ideology or other political interest they align with in their account setup and bio on Whitedate, implying that that makes them politically active and therefore acceptable targets for life ruination. Balgord mentions how there is an option to state that you believe in the “Great Replacement Theory”, which Balgord immediately relates to various mass murderers throughout history.

Balgord has justified the life ruination of people on a dating app by implying that if White people disapprove of the demographic displacement of their own people, that they are somehow aligned with mass murderers. Using warped logic like this, while taking an aggressive stance against anyone who espouses pro-White views, Balgord demonizes his targets as unworthy of any public stature in mainstream society. Any person with worldviews he despises is painted as a public safety issue, with Balgord stating his biggest concern is the profiles of a few Canadian school teachers in the stolen data leaks.

Balgord explains how he spoke extensively to a young male in high school who inquired if CAHN hates White people. Clearly, Balgord has no issue conversing with minors online if he can groom them into his ideology that equates being against demographic change with mass murderers. However, teachers having views opposed to his in their private lives is deeply concerning to him.

The Canadian Anti-Hate Network has already embedded themselves into schools with their “Anti-Hate School Toolkit” where they attempt to teach children this ideology that demonizes views it opposes. However, the Government of Saskatchewan discourages teachers from using the “Anti-Hate School Toolkit” developed by CAHN, stating “The toolkit does not meet criteria such as being high quality, free from bias as reasonably possible, and having appropriate and significant Saskatchewan context”. Perhaps more government officials should step up to oppose the encroachment of Anti-Hate into Canadian schools. This could be something worth writing about to school boards and government officials for citizens and parents concerned with CAHN’s influence in schools.

CAHN’s Evan Balgord and Rachel Gilmore have demonstrated repeatedly in this livestream that they will take information about their perceived political opponents, even if obtained illegally via hacking online, and use it to commit life ruination against Canadians. They openly admit to aggressively seeking any information they can to coerce their political opponents to stop their activities. Balgord states:

“The goal here in reporting on this is there needs to be social consequences… When somebody decides to do activities or take part or network with white nationalist, white supremacists or Neo-Nazis, they’re getting something out of it, they’re getting some sort of sense of community and purpose and fulfillment out of it. It’s very twisted but they are… Creating social accountability and making it clear that you can’t have two lives, where in public you try to appear like a totally normal person, and then in private you’re connecting and helping to sustain some kind of White supremacist movement; Those things are in conflict with each other and when you deconflict those things, when you make it obvious and clear to the public these people are engaging in that activity, oftentimes they curtail their behaviour because they are afraid of the social consequences of engaging in that kind of behaviour.”

The reason that Balgord, with groups like CAHN, are able to get people fired for their views is because the government, government-funded media like CBC, and government-funded special interest groups like CAHN have a monopoly on public discourse within the mainstream media, and policy amongst government, educational and institutions of employment. Antifa radicals target people further if they feel a threat has not been effectively silenced, often with harassment, mischief and violence. This collective authoritarian practice censors and demonizes what many people might otherwise think are rational arguments, leaving them to also be victims of this institutional coercion and censorship. This is also completely anti-democratic; though in a case of clear projection, the Powers-That-Be who censor often justify it by saying that the disliked speech is “dangerous to our democracy”.

Gilmore and Balgord, as staunch supporters of the “LGBTQ+” community, should have some self awareness over their belief that getting people fired and ostracized for their political views is justified as doling out “social consequences”, as it is only because the establishment currently favours their flavour of authoritarianism. CAHN previously wrote in support of the Stonewall Riots of 1969: “Stonewall refers to a bar and community hub for New York City’s LGBTQ scene in the 1960s. During that time, police would regularly raid LGBTQ+ clubs, bathhouses and hangouts. While there were many similar venues, the Stonewall Inn was unique as it welcomed drag queens, a group sometimes shunned by other establishments and punished under anti-drag and anti-LGBTQ+ legislation. When the NYPD raided the Stonewall Inn on June 28, 1969, and began arresting patrons and employees of the Greenwich Village business – the second raid that week – onlookers from the community began pelting the officers with everything from pennies to beer bottles. Six nights of rioting would follow as a community that was criminalized and oppressed under the law took to the streets.”

It appears that history is repeating itself, but now the pendulum has swung so far that the “LGBTQ+” community is able to persecute White people for trying to date each other. They are only able to dole out these “social consequences” now, because they currently have the power to do so. These people have no regard for the concept of free speech, and aggressively pursue to imprison people for speech they don’t like, as we will see in Part 3 of this report. Stay tuned for Part 3 of this report.
