The Conditional Coward: Joe Anidjar’s (Puck Daddy)  Betrayal and The Infiltrated Farce Called Canada First.

Anidjar was busy smearing Leigh Stewy as a co-opter, but his own rally was crawling with people openly pushing foreign ethno-nationalist agendas.

For seven rallies now, Joe Anidjar — better known as Puck Daddy — has been waving the red-and-white flag in Toronto’s squares and parks, shouting “Stop mass immigration!” and “Canada First!” to souls willing to listen. On paper, it looks like the real thing: a hockey-dad finally saying what millions of us old-stock Canadians have been thinking since Trudeau opened the floodgates. But peel back the optics, watch the clips, and listen to what actually comes out of his mouth, and the truth is uglier than any counter-protester’s sign.

This isn’t nationalism. This is civic liberalism in a toque.

Joe’s entire project rests on the same post-national poison Pierre Trudeau poured into our veins in 1971: Canada is not a people with blood, history, and soil — it is a “proposition.” Anyone with a piece of paper and a willingness to mouth “Canadian values” (whatever those are this week) can become one of us. Joe just slaps “Christian” and “mass deportation for the bad ones” on top and calls it patriotism. That is not resistance. That is surrender with better branding.

The Leigh Stewy’s Canada First Unmasking

Watch the February 21 Dundas Square clip. Leigh Stewy — a Nationalist Activist who actually believes Canadians are a distinct founding people, not a hotel for the planet — approaches Joe in good faith to talk strategy and message clarity. She dares to ask the forbidden question: Who exactly are the “Canadians” we’re putting first? The European stock that built this country, or anyone with citizenship papers?

Joe doesn’t engage. He screams in her face. He turns on her cameraman and threatens him. He accuses her of being a “Liberal plant,” a divider. This is the same Joe who preaches “unity” and “peaceful rallies.” But when challenged on the ethnic core of Canadian identity — the one thing that actually matters — the “lone wolf hockey dad” throws a public tantrum like a cornered politician. Real leaders don’t scream at women asking honest questions. Cowards do.

The Infiltrators He Welcomes While Attacking His Own

While Joe was busy smearing Leigh as a co-opter, his own rally was crawling with people openly pushing foreign ethno-nationalist agendas.

A woman explains to Leigh that she can be a “Canadian conservative nationalist and a Zionist.” Translation: Israel gets to be an explicit Jewish ethno-state with a right of return for any Jew on Earth, but Canada must remain a civic proposition open to the Third World. But Joe says nothing. He doesn’t call her a plant and screams in her face. He simply accepts this conflicting post-nationalist ideology as Canada’s truth.

Then there’s Ron Banerjee — the self-declared Hindu nationalist who has become a regular at Canada First events. In the same rally footage, Ron tells the camera that “Hindu nationalism is going to save white people from themselves and the planet.” He’s on record saying Christianity is failing Canadians and that mass conversion to Hinduism is the answer. And Joe remains silent. He doesn’t demand that he assimilate or leave. Quite the contrary, Ron gets a warm welcome while Joe attacks actual Canadian nationalists for wanting to keep Canada Canadian.

This is not “big tent.” This is a tent with the zipper wide open to every foreign lobby that wants to use our discontent for their own civilizational projects. Zionists get to keep their ethno-state. Hindu nationalists get to pitch supremacy and conversion. And Joe’s old-stock supporters are told to shut up and wave the flag.

Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?

The Pandering Post-Nationalist Pimp

Joe has flip-flopped on his own identity so many times it’s embarrassing. In one breath, he’s “part Jewish,” Sephardic Moroccan heritage, and attended pro-Israel walks. When the base pushes back on Zionism and foreign agitation, suddenly he’s “not really Jewish — come to my house on Christmas, I’ll show you how Jewish I really am” Scottish mother, hockey stick, Christmas tree. Whatever keeps the clicks and the optics alive.

And the leadership? Pathetic. In the February 21 livestream, he openly admits he won’t march because the turnout isn’t big enough. “When people show up in the thousands, I’ll facilitate it.” Translation: I’ll lead the parade once it’s already a parade. Until then, stay small, stay safe, stay on camera. Real nationalists — the kind who built this country — marched, froze, fought, and died with dozens, not thousands. Joe waits for the safe, fame-ready moment. That’s not conviction. That’s content creation.

The Liberal Wolf in Nationalist Clothing

Here’s the deepest cut: when Joe accuses Leigh and the identitarians of being Liberals trying to co-opt his movement, he is projecting so hard he could power a Toronto hydro plant.

His entire ideology — “legal immigration is fine if they assimilate,” “anyone can be Canadian with the right values,” “paper + flag = nation” — is straight out of the Liberal Party playbook since the 1960s. It is the same civic nationalism that turned Toronto into a city where old-stock Canadians are now a minority in their own birthplace. Joe just added “stop the worst ones” and “Christian values please” for plausible deniability.

True Canadian Nationalism — the organic, blood-and-soil kind our ancestors lived — says this land belongs first and forever to the European founding peoples who cleared the forests, built the infrastructure, fought the wars, and created the peace, order, and good government that once made us the envy of the world. Every other person has the right to their own homelands: Jews to Israel, Hindus to India, whoever. But Canada is ours. A citizenship certificate does not rewrite 200 years of ancestry. Joe calls that “Liberal.” We call it reality.

The Verdict

Joe Anidjar is not saving Canada. He is managing its decline in a way that feels rebellious enough to attract the angry but safe enough to avoid the real fight. His rallies give good footage. His slogans sound tough. But the moment anyone demands consistency — no foreign agitation, ancestral identity, actual leadership — he screams, pivots, panders, and lets Hindu nationalists and Zionists pitch their own ethno-projects inside his “Canada First” big tent.

Real nationalists see it. The movement is stagnating because the base is waking up. The old-stock Canadians who actually built this country are not interested in being saved by Hindu nationalism, defended by Zionism, or led by a man who only marches when the camera crew is guaranteed a big crowd.

We don’t need another civic populist grifting on our rage.

We need men and women willing to say the quiet part loud: Canada is for Canadians — the real ones, the founding ones, the ones whose bones are in the ground from Vimy to Juno Beach.

Joe’s circus has had its run. Time for the real thing.
